When stored at room temperature, glutathione is not stable in aqueous solutions for more than a few days. Therefore, any glutathione product purchased in liquid form has been rendered inert (i.e., useless) by the time it is received by the purchaser. This is not a mater of opinion, but has been confirmed by countless scientific studies. In order to overcome this obstacle, our product has been formulated with a specialized, patented form of liposomal glutathione known as Setria® Glutathione. This highly stable form of glutathione will remain viable in aqueous solutions for several months at room temperature, and up to 6 months when stored at temps ranging from 35-40 degrees (i.e., the refrigerator).
PLEASE READ: In order to retain stability for the longest amount of time possible, it is recommended that this product be stored in the refrigerator. Keep in mind that this may cause the chemical to partially come out of solution (this can also occur during cold weather shipping). While this will not damage the chemical, it may reduce the product’s solute concentration by up to 5%. In order to account for this possibility, our glutathione has been dosed 5-8% above label claims, thereby negating any reduction in concentration that may occur as a result of dissolution during cold temperature transit/storage.
